A prayer you might use to refresh and sustain your soul in the beautiful (but often long!) days of summer with kiddos…
A liturgy for: Summer
Summer holds my hopes to slow, breathe deep, recharge - that is until the sun beats hard and dries my dreams with scorching rays of taxing schedules, monotonous days. O God, take now my thirsting soul and use these coming days ahead to lead me far from desert roads, to wade in waters of your love. Yes, lead me to the fount that is greater than I and fill me to the brim with life that from me streams might flow and reach to all to which I tend and keep. May these coming days now be the place where we might be refreshed by Grace.
